Dirty Works Buttery Salt Scrub Review!

Hi guys!

Today I’m reviewing this Dirty Works Glow Girl Buttery Salt Scrub. This brand can be found in Winners in Canada and I believe it retails for about $10. This was a gift so I’m not completely certain of the price but the brand overall is affortable. It contains 300ml/10.1 fl oz.

Polish dry, dull skin with this hardworking exfoliator which combines Sea Salt, Pumice and Peach Stone granules to completely resurface and refine the skin. The addition of Shea Butter helps to replenish lost moisture and restore skin back to its silky smooth self.

It contains sea salt, pumice and peach stone granules. Pumice is formed when hot lava mixes with water and hardens, resulting in a porous and abrasive stone perfect for sloughing away dry skin. The peach stone granules act as an exfoliating and smoothing agent. Even though it contains a few different exfoliating ingredients, it’s not as rough as you might think. It’s actually pretty gentle but you can still feel it scrubbing your skin, so I don’t know if you’d enjoy if you have extremely sensitive skin. The consistency is also very creamy so I think that helps to make it gentle. love the scent, I couldn’t help but open the jar a few times right after I received it to smell it again, and I think it smells even better in the shower. I also like that you can smell it after getting out of the shower, leaving a nice scent on the skin.

I don’t have super dry skin as I always make sure to moisturize my body after a shower but I have noticed how hydrated and soft my skin feels when I use this scrub. I use it about once a week and a little goes a long way so this jar will last me some time. If you have dry skin, I think this would work great to hydrate it and if you don’t have dry skin, like me, the good thing is that it doesn’t leave the skin feeling oily.

Massage a large handful onto wet skin in circular motions for a natural, flawless finish: perfect to use as a pre-tanning treatment! Rinse thoroughly.

Overall, I love this scrub. I can’t think of anything negative about it other than it’s hard to find at Winners so I gotta make sure to buy a few when they have them. For a 100 ml body scrub that is affortable and actually works, it’s totally worth a try. I have a couple more of Dirty Works scrubs to try when it run out of this one and I hope they’re just as good.

Thank you for reading and have a great week!
